Cecil is an alternate indie pop artist from Berkshire. She began to sing at aged five and picked up the piano in her early teens.
Inspired by her mothers drumkit and drawing inspiration from her great uncle Cecil McGivern who wrote the original screenplay for "Great Expectations" she began to write her own songs which then developed into captivating live performances.
Cecil released her debut E.P "Silly Business" in April 2017 which has received support from BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing Berkshire, several other BBC regional radio stations and many other UK radio stations.
Summer 2017 has seen Cecil take to the road performing all over the U.K at various gigs and festivals. Cecil has performed at The Royal Henley Regatta, Godiva Festival, Henley Festival, Lechlade and many more.
With upcoming gigs at BBC Radio 2's Carfest and headlining at the London o2 Academy Islington, Cecil promises to be one of the futures stars to look out for.
