The Field to Fork Project
We are excited to announce that our award winning Field to Fork project will be returning for 2018! Following the success of our UK Festival initiative 'The Wheat Project', we're delighted to yet again be creating an incredible new sensory experience for children to showcase the journey from field to fork with the fresh herbs and vegetables grown at the festival. Think fragrant basil, coriander and rosemary, along with home-grown earthy courgettes and carrots.
We’ve been busy all summer tending vegetables and testing tasty recipes, all in preparation for our budding young chefs! Children will be able to discover their green fingers by picking fresh veg from the Field to Fork veg patch, and then cook up a deliciously creative storm with the veg they’ve just picked.
Registration is free and will take place at the Field to Fork veg patch on the day on a first-come, first-served basis. We can’t wait to kick off another year of “grow-your-own” fun!
