Operation Red Rocket: A Mission to Feast

For far-fetched fun and astronomical levels of culinary magic, we are thrilled to welcome back The Art of Dining for an immersive feast like no other. Following a sold out run in London, we are super excited to be able to bring Operation Red Rocket: A Mission to Feast to The Big Feastival this August. 

Set designer Alice Hodge and Moro-trained chef Ellen Parr make up the power pop-up duo behind The Art of Dining and have collaborated in the past to create some of London’s most unforgettable dinners. Over the last couple of years they have taken us on some fantastical culinary adventures at The Big Feastival and this year, they are landing on the farm with a space-themed banquet like no other. On a journey out of this world, diners are invited to step back into the past for a glimpse at an imagined tomorrow. Diners will be treated to an epic four-course menu that has been designed around an international mission to Mars, with India, China, Israel and Russia each representing a course. Lunch and dinner sittings will run each day, as well as a Mini Mission which is a take on an afternoon tea service. 

Costumes optional (though actively encouraged), wild imaginations compulsory.

Operation Red Rocket ticket-holders must also have an entry ticket to the festival in order to attend. For children 12 and under we have a specially designed children's menu - full menu options can be seen below. Of course if your child would prefer the adult menu, this is possible but you will need to book a full price adult ticket. If you would like to opt for the Vegetarian menu, please drop us an email to enquiries@thebigfeastival.com so we can make a note of your booking in advance.

Tea and Coffee

Owing to the complex nature of festival catering we cannot accommodate menu changes for dietary preferences. Please note however that this menu contains allergens and you should advise us of any allergies in your party. There might be some small menu changes depending on seasonal and local ingredients.
